NOt too sure on the Neumatic machines. In my opinion you might as well run a rotary as they are or can be pretty much the same. I'm not dissin them just why spend the money on a compressor when a rotary runs on your current power supply and are quiet as hell.

As for wireless footswitches check out Critical Tattoo. They are very close to releasing theirs.

My sister is an engineer at GE and I've spoken with her quite a bit over the years about helping me come up with a wireless tattoo machine. The roadblock is always the battery. Getting the signal to the machine is the easy part. Having some way to power the machine is the hard part. It has to remain small and light and for now there isn't a good way to do that.

A friend of mine has switched his shop entirely to pneumatics and has nothing but great things to say about them. He also somehow installed a giant compressor outside that runs to all the stations and all the stations can run at once off this one compressor, which helps eliminate the noise. He likes that the neumas don't require any tuning.

I'm interested to hear about other people's favorite old doorbells, what makers and styles others prefer.

Practice practice practice.........

Well, who haven`t heard these words before...No secrets are revealed without years of practice.
I`ve just startet my journey into pinstriping and I find most difficult, irritating and exciting. I sit for hours just practicing lines and once in a while there comes a straight line and I can smell a bit of hope in the darkness.
In the beginning there is always alot of "AHA" and "F#$?%" moments...but never before have I felt this kind of calm and at the same time impatient feeling when studying some… Continue
