But even after all these years, once in awhile don't you just pick up an old piece of scrap and lay down some lines just for yourself? Even if it just ends up in the trash or adorns the corner of a table in your shop, you do it just for yourself and no one else. Every artist and striper I know does this from time to time. Last night I striped a buddies helmet for free cuz he stopped by and left it on my kitchen table. dertybert already has a new business he's trying to get off the ground. striping (in my understanding) is a way for him to relax and try something new. If he only sees it as a business and a way to make $ the pressure to be good as fast as possible will probably outweigh the reasons he's giving it a shot in the first place. I understand what you're saying and I pretty much agree with everything. You have my respect for dong what you do for as long as you've been doing it. I've made my living by painting for 25 years, airbrushing for 12 and striping for 10. and I know, I still have a lot to learn...
by the way, I used to live in Medford, right around the corner from you... Absolutely Beautiful country around there!
